Medicare 101 Event

Medicare coverage can be confusing, but it doesn’t have to be. If you or someone you love wonder about eligibility, have questions about Medicare, or just want more information about the coverage, then this event is for you.

What: Welcome to Medicare

When: April 16th at 6:00 p.m.

Where:ChesterwoodVillage, located at8073 Tylersville Road, West Chester

What: A free event is open to people with Medicare or who are Medicare eligible and might be seeking more information or services. People interested in learning more about Medicare for a loved one are welcome at this event, too.

Come ready to learn about Medicare health coverage from professionals with the Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program (OSHIIP). 

The OSHIIP staff is trained by the state of Ohio and is a service of the Ohio Department of Insurance. This event isn’t to promote or sell any insurance companies, policies, or agents. This is an informative event to help understand the ins and outs of Medicare.

The event will cover:

  • Information about prescription drug plans
  • Medicare Advantage plans
  • Medicare supplemental insurance
  • Financial assistance for people with a limited income

Questions are always welcomed and encouraged at this event. Bring any questions or concerns to the event and a trained OSHIIP professional can assist you with questions or services.

Feel free to bring guests with you and enjoy the complimentary refreshments provided to those in attendance.
